J. Cole Stuck In Phoenix After Honda Civic Dies During Tour
Once again, J. Cole being a relatable real person. Stuck in Phoenix after his Honda Civic dies during tour.
Article says J. Cole found himself stranded in Phoenix after his Honda Civic broke down during a cross-country road trip to Los Angeles. Been there, been there.
Who else been there? Shout out to J. Cole just off that, off that, off the road trip alone in the Civic.
The North Carolina rapper posted a photo Monday evening showing his car getting repaired at an Arizona auto shop while traveling to promote his latest album, The Fall Off. And honestly, funny enough, that’s the, that’s the greatest promotion he could have done for him and the auto shop.
Cold told it’s 12 million X followers that the vehicle broke down during the journey, and that he planned to stay in Phoenix until repairs were completed. Cole wrote on X that he tried to make it to LA before going back home, but the Civic said it had enough and broke down.
The Grammy winner said he would use a rental van to continue selling CDs around Phoenix, while the Honda’s being repaired.
Tried to make it to LA before we go back home, the Civic said it had enough and broke on us! Phoenix, we here now while the car is getting fixed
Gonna mob around the city in the sprinter selling CD’s in the meantime. pic.twitter.com/A8f0nbkwNF

What I’m asking myself is, how much are they charging J. Cole? Do they even know J. Cole is at this auto shop? I’m sure they know now, but like when he’s walking in, do they recognize J. Cole? Did he call ahead of time and be like, “Hey, I think my transmission has failed…How much are you going to charge me?” And what do they say? Do they do they charge them the regular standard for Honda Civic, which was, I don’t know how much it would be.
I’m guessing like 700 bucks.
I don’t even know really what the issue is with the car, I’m just throwing it out there as an example. Yeah, so he’s saying he, he’s going to just kick it in the sprinter, selling the CDs, which also shout out to J. Cole himself in the CDs in 2026. That’s hard.
The Phoenix auto shop is not confirming which location is handling Cole’s vehicle maintenance, but I’m sure when they do confirm, it’ll be everywhere.
Local Phoenix residents quickly responded to Cole’s post, asking which part of the city he was visiting for repairs. The Dreamville founder has been driving across America selling physical copies of the fall off directly from his car trunk and a throwback marketing approach (very lost classic of him). Cole announced the unconventional promotion strategy after releasing his 7th studio album earlier this month to connect with listeners face to face.
